    Been trying to write a piece for Christmas this year and so far I've came up with this...But I can't help get the feeling that it sounds familiar and I don't want to seem like I'm completely ripping off someone elses piece. Does it ring a bell to anyone?

    Well, if you're ripping someone off I wouldn't know who. Doesn't ring a bell, does sound pretty though!

    I do not know how good the algorithms of YouTube are, Maybe you could post it in a youtube channel and wait if it is banned or not. But I do not know what this means to your YouTube channel in consequence.
    It is just an idea...maybe silly one ..I don't know
    Your idea indeed rings a bell to me, but this could be because it is a very lovely tune to which everybody feels so connected that everybody thinks "Ah this sounds good, I think i know it, but I do not know from where". It is like having a new friend and you think you know him for tens of years. It could also be that I have heard a very similar (or the same?) tune in another piece and remember it because I liked it but do not know what it is, which does not really help you I guess.

    A lot of what you do sounds nice, honestly!

    For what it's worth, I still have parts of "The Battle" stuck in my head. Some mornings I wake up, think I have a brilliant idea and then I realize no, it's Duncan's The Battle lol, then I cry and go back to sleep

    Honestly though, would you ever consider sharing the midi data (or score) of The Battle? I have your mockup saved on my computer and while it's certainly not bad, I think it deserves a little more love :)

    Very pretty piano sound btw. What instrument / library is it? I bought the EW Bechstein a while ago but was pretty dissapointed for that price.

    It's the keyscape library, I think the preset I used was the C7 - Cinematic
