No problem, just send me (Mike) a Conversation message and I'll get you sorted, by which I mean hammered-into-obedient-line because I'm SO about having a lot of individuality-destroying, oppressive shit all over my forum.

The Witching Hour

  1. October is upon us, once again! And in celebration of the season, here is a fun little tune I wrote; inspired by so many of the macabre, classical pieces from the Halloween repertoire.

  2. This is the best piece of yours, by far! Congrats! I hear the Silvestri influence, but it's great! Really well structered, orchestrated and balanced. Any chance we can see the full score of it? Keep up the great work, this was real fun, and I love to see (hear) your progress in writing music over all these years! :)

    Regards,
    Tino

  3. Thanks for the kind words! I was very influenced by Mussorgsky and Berlioz for this one. I went ahead and attached the score pdf to the post!

  4. Yes, I can hear the influence, but it works great in a cinematic context, great work! Thanks for the score, some interesting stuff in here! :)

  5. I am just a hobbyist so my opinion is more "enduserish" than professional: I like this peace very much. It was not boring at anytime and I like the fast movements. In my opinion the "dramtic arc" (do not know if you say it this way in english) is perfect.
