No problem, just send me (Mike) a Conversation message and I'll get you sorted, by which I mean hammered-into-obedient-line because I'm SO about having a lot of individuality-destroying, oppressive shit all over my forum.

The Four & He who does wrong worse

Discussion in 'Critique & Feedback' started by Haakon Davidsen, Mar 19, 2018.

  1. Hi!
I´ve completed a new track today.

This is a song inspired by a Norwegian book series called "The Four & He who does wrong worse". There are no plans to make these books into a film, so I wanted to try to make a theme song. The story is about four friends that are chosen by an old legend, to save the world from the evil souls that have awakened. Tried to mimic the old adventure soundtrack style. Hope you like it.

As always, I would be glad for any feedback on either the composition, midi-editing or mixing.

  2. Fun piece. Primary feedback is that it could have used a bit more of the darkness to set the stage for a victory. :)
    • 0:00 nice. settling in for a dark tale about the havoc the evil souls have created... things are about to get serious...
    • 0:22 the hero's victory lap arrived way sooner than I was expecting!
    • 1:08 ah, the plot thickens again. so it wasn't such an easy victory after all? ...
    • 1:25 triumph, four friends!
    • 1:48 remember the good times we had along the way, friends? let's recount the journey.
    Thanks for sharing.

  3. Hey! Thanks for listening. That is indeed the «story» I had in mind as I composed it!
