    In one of Mike's classes of 2017, I mentioned a YouTube video that asserted that in the first cut of Star Wars (the version that was shown to Spielberg and De Palma), the rebel base was not in danger during the final battle.

    Mike Verta was not pleased, he said this must be a lie.

    I found the video. Hopefully someone has more information.
