1. Didja accidentally blow through the whole, "We're using our real names" thing on registration? No problem, just send me (Mike) a Conversation message and I'll get you sorted, by which I mean hammered-into-obedient-line because I'm SO about having a lot of individuality-destroying, oppressive shit all over my forum.

  1. I've had my first live gigs in awhile, and after running into a line-level issue on one of the early ones, I picked up this passive direct box and love it. Just used it yesterday and it was clean, Jack.

  2. Sounds like I nice piece of equipment, I'm interested to give one a try some time.

Mike, what other equipment are you using for your live set-up?

  3. Well I use the same kind of crappy M-Audio Keystation 88es I use in the studio at home because by now I know how to play on it. And until my controller is ready, it'll do fine. I have a Behringer FCB-1010 foot pedal array that I use to control various things, will occasionally break out the TEC breath controller 2 for some things. I run the whole thing on a MacBook Pro running Mainstage 3. Was using a Zoom USB/MIDI interface but tonight I ordered its replacement, the RME Babyface Pro. I also have a new set of in-ear monitors coming, custom ones from UE, the UE 18+Pro. I use an On-Stage Z stand and Bench, and my laptop is on a Roland laptop stage stand.
