1. Didja accidentally blow through the whole, "We're using our real names" thing on registration? No problem, just send me (Mike) a Conversation message and I'll get you sorted, by which I mean hammered-into-obedient-line because I'm SO about having a lot of individuality-destroying, oppressive shit all over my forum.

  2. I listened for a while but had to turn it off.
I think it is way too much all at once.
I rarely can concentrate on what you want to say while each section is talking over eachother, without supporting your statement, if there is any.
It feels to me like being in a crowded place, while everyone is shouting their own conversations, which may not necessarily make sense.

As Mike always says: Break it down to two handed piano.
Let's see what is important here and concentrate on that and make it shine.

Also if you have not watched it yet, I recommend:
    - composition 1
    - Themenator
    - mod squad
    - counterpoint
    - orchestration 1
    - a better main title
    (www.mikeverta.com)
It's even 40% off right now.

Also watch the complete last unleashed class on YouTube.
It's a ton of content, but so valuable.

Even better, I would recommend to put that piece away for now. Watch all or more I have listed here and then come back and submit a short piece for piano only.

We are all working on it together. It's hard to get the basics right, but we are all in the same boat. And we will help you to get better. And trust me, it will work. But it is a lot of work.

Or maybe I'm not sophisticated enough for your piece. All I can tell you is how I perceived it and what I think will help you so that EVERYONE can enjoy your music.

I hope it helps. Looking forward to the short piano piece if you are up for the challenge!

  3. Uhm... Was it too harsh?

  4. I think he is still not ready for criticism
