Macross Frontier - Yoko Kanno

    Hey,

    I´ve been listening latley to this amazing soundtrack by Yoko Kanno, it´s an anime series, and I really have found it super inspiring, lot´s of Korsakov, John Williams, Holst, influence, and I´ve found the orchestration and arragements quite impressive.
    I´ve also done some research and it seems she arranged and orchestrated most by herself, which I found not only impressive but also techincally and work/time efficient-wise crazy!

    Anyways, here are a few of my favorite cues! hope you all enjoy them! :)

    My thoughts listening to that first cue were "Damn, I need to watch that show!". Truely inspiring, thanks for sharing!

    I think I watched one of the Macross movies roughly 2 decades ago (and have pretty much no memory of it), but otherwise my only connection to the franchise was through BattleTech because they licensed mech designs from them and there have been lots of legal battles over those.

    Looking forward to check out more of that music, thanks for the links!
