1. Didja accidentally blow through the whole, "We're using our real names" thing on registration? No problem, just send me (Mike) a Conversation message and I'll get you sorted, by which I mean hammered-into-obedient-line because I'm SO about having a lot of individuality-destroying, oppressive shit all over my forum.

  2. For string notation

    Blend with (insert library name)

    Meta
Also how about a button where we record each section individually to give the engineer the most control.

  3. Doug,

I like those and will add them to Volume II.

    Thanks.

  4. Don't forget about the "Producer button". It's the one on the big Neve console that does nothing so they can get the mix just as they like it.

  5. This reminds me of some of the things I learned recently when I decided to check out VI-Control:
    • JunkieXL brass is the best thing ever
    • Dry samples are useless because they're way too thin and not epic enough
    • The most important thing is how realistic and epic your samples are. Expressiveness and performance make no difference.

  6. For notation:
    • Add some italian words like "Cannelloni" or "Probabilmente" at random places in the score.
    When working in DAW:
    • Always quantize.
    • Faders to the max.
    • Add like 11 copression plugins to the master bus. The more expensive plugins the more professional you will sound.
