1. Didja accidentally blow through the whole, "We're using our real names" thing on registration? No problem, just send me (Mike) a Conversation message and I'll get you sorted, by which I mean hammered-into-obedient-line because I'm SO about having a lot of individuality-destroying, oppressive shit all over my forum.

  2. Hey Bjarke,

Sorry to say this, but I turned it off after 28 seconds.
I know it is probably not the feedback that you wanted, but I could not listen to it any longer.
It was not fun to listen to for me.

Maybe try to start with something more simple and pedestrian to catch the attention and interest of the listener and then go out and do sophisticated stuff in a song, like Mike says.

    Hope it helps!

  3. I think somewhere in here there is a good melody, the main problem I think is you're trying to over complicate it to the point where you've lost your listeners right at the beginning.

The first few bars I was struggling to hear where the first beat was, then all of a sudden bar 4 htis you and it feels very disjointed from the rest of the piece, then you go back to your first idea but you have these piano runs going everywhere which might be fine later on the piece but we've hardly heard what you're idea is so we haven't locked onto your melody and now we're completely lost. It's like you're trying to do what John Williams does with the celesta and strings in Harry Potter, except Williams does that about 30 seconds into the piece once he's given us the simplest version of the melody first, then he introduces the runs on their own to introduce a new idea so the listeners feel comfortable with this new idea and that lasts about 10 seconds on it's own before he brings back the main melody, then by that point the audience is comfortable enough that they are able to follow what's going on.

You're new theme at 1:00 isn't nearly as strong as your first idea I think. I hear a lot of potential in your first idea, you just got to simplify it so we're with you first and then you can start making it complex.

Also, not sure if it's your samples, but the piano runs are really fighting with the violins to the point where I can only hear the piano runs and not the melody which isn't helping. The range on the piano goes so high that the ears are drawn to them straight away.

    I hope this helps
