  2. I do not understand how the beginning and ending are connected to the rest of the piece. But more pressingly, arpeggios do not make uninteresting chord progressions interesting. Have you tried eliminating all arpeggio motion entirely, and simply playing the piece as block chords? Try this, and see if you think the piece is inherently engaging, and tells a clear story.

    I agree the piece lacks a clear direction, which is even more obvious when playing only with block chords.

    At first, A2 section (mm. 18-28) immediately followed A1 (mm. 3-8) : I thought it was too much and added the middle section afterwards, which makes the piece unclear.
