    Hey !

    Nice to hear some of your music. You know it can be helpful to think about the classical "Rimsky" model.
    He used primarily diatonic music to portray human elements in the work, and primarily chromatic music to portray the magical or supernatural elements in
    his work.

    It's a little too on the diatonic side IMO. Also after the Phrygian move, I would personally cut from 2:03 to 2:09. The drop down doesn't really work for me.

    Thanks, I thought I had gotten chromatic towards the end but I'll think about it. I saved the most satisfying move (I-bVI) for the end and use different harmony (I-I+ and I-iv) for the first statements. I know that string break is weird, I'm just trying things out with this piece. Thanks for your time.
