No problem, just send me (Mike) a Conversation message and I'll get you sorted, by which I mean hammered-into-obedient-line because I'm SO about having a lot of individuality-destroying, oppressive shit all over my forum.

Hey Mike I really appreciate you taking the time to do this. That was one heck of a marathon, so thanks.

Mike or anyone that was there for the Unleashed 7, I was watching the live stream from the start till about 12 hours in, but never heard my submission. Just curious if I missed it somehow.

    The title is Third Eye.

If anyone knows the time stamp let me know.

    Thanks!

  2. Hi Charles,

I did remember the name "Third Eye" come up during the stream. I'll be listening to the stream again throughout next week - I'll try to grab a timestamp when I hear it if someone else doesn't do it first.

I also submitted a short piece (less than a minute) titled "Dreaming of Portugal", and didn't hear it during the stream, though I wouldn't be surprised if I also simply missed listening to it. The piece was submitted at 11:03 AM PST on 12/16, if that helps at all.

Regardless, this year's Unleashed 7 was amazing and I was thrilled to catch the show live for the first time. To Mike, and to everyone else who submitted pieces for discussion, you all ROCK!

  3. I sent my piece too at the same time as you did, didn't hear it but I wasn't able to watch the full show, hope our pieces weren't lost in the ether!^^
(Mine was called "The Last Christmas of the Little Match Girl" in any case you guys remember a title like that)

  4. I did not hear my piece either. Must have gotten lost in the shuffle. It was called The Flight to Adventure.

  5. 3 hours were lost when YouTube clipped the first part at 12 hours instead of 15. The show ran 18+ hours. In playing the pieces, I simply opened the submission folder and went down one at a time; I'm not sure how any could have been missed but I will try to get them reviewed here.

  6. Your piece was there, I heard it.

  7. Do you still have access to the submission folder or do you need us to send the file again? I can't find the review for my piece either, the filename was Counterpart - Piano Sketch.

  8. FIrst of all: Thank you very much for the oportunity you gave us all. I already learned (I hope so) very much from your last unleashed and the unleasheds before and your Youtube videos and your master classes! Thank you!

I was live the first five or six hours or so and I also tried to find my piece in the rest of the Youtube Videos but was unable to find it. Its name is "Kittentune". Did I miss it or did it vanish somehow?

  9. Yes!
I watched the whole first video and found it around 8.5 hours in!

Thanks @Mike Verta for the critique, that's something a friend of mine told me for a while even though it the jumping from an ambiance to another was intentional here.(Composed as it was a short animation film)
I agree with the lack of theme on that introduction though! I didn't see it while working on the piano version...
The worst part is that I generally focus a lot on the themes(there are a few ones in that same track.) and the "shower" themes are pretty much what I do when I score a film, I know it because I heard people whistling the main themes when getting out of the theater at each premiere I've been to!^^
Anyway, I hear you and I thank you! I'll rewatch the theminator masterclass too!

I can't take the time to work on that one again but I've been noodling around on the piano following your advices.
I'll post the two versions(piano and orchestrated) in a separate topic as it was a test of Synchron Woodwinds.
Next year I'll send you something better!
