If I wanted to recreate that “blockbuster” symphobia patch, how would I go about it.

My initial thoughts are to layer Met ark 1 low brass (bass Tombone, tuba, and cinbassi) with Met ark low strings, all with marcato style articulations and then add an aggressive low piano patch too.

Maybe Timpani too...?

Hi guys

I just purchased this Masterclass. It is my first time trying out Mike Verta's masterclasses. The video is quite bad, it was good when it was just the video cam showing him but when he switched to sharing his PT screen it just seems as it is blinking all the time and makes me really dizzy. It is a shame as I was really enjoying the actual content being shared.

Is it just me? If so, can someone provide another link?

Thanks a lot
To get the gig I need to score their short "test" scene that they're giving to people (?).
Hi, Mike!

I wanted to ask about your technique for doing string double strokes in the ID film.

About 1Hr 38 m in, you do an action cue. You composed a figure in the strings that's a double stroked rhythmic thing. You mentioned, "Oh, that's action strings there". I was wondering, what's your preferred way to utilize action strings to do those double strokes? Do you:

A: Load one of the action strings presets, that have the figure "programmed in", and lay it out on the cue?
B: Write single...
